Tinuiti Named to Inc. Magazine’s Annual List of Best Workplaces for 5th Year

Prioritizing employee happiness above all else, and an ongoing commitment to a ‘Culture of Ownership’, DEI, and mental health continue Tinuiti’s streak as one of America’s best workplaces

NEW YORK, NY – May 10, 2022 – Tinuiti the largest independent performance marketing firm across Streaming TV and the Triopoly of Google, Meta, Amazon has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list. This marks the fifth  year the firm has made the list, with previous years including 2021, 2020, 2018, and 2017. The annual list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture and includes direct employee feedback through the Quantum Best Places to Work survey.

At Tinuiti, the components of a workplace are rooted in its ‘Culture of Ownership’ in which every single employee is empowered to drive success for clients, and in turn, success for Tinuiti as a whole. By enabling employees to take ownership of their responsibilities and unique contributions Tinuiti continues to drive top-tier performance for client partners, while attracting diverse talent to join the team. An ongoing focus on flexible, remote work options and on mental health and physical wellness also contribute to Tinuiti’s award-winning workplace and culture.

Jeff Batuhan, Chief People Officer at Tinuiti, said: “Being named to Inc. Magazine’s List of Best Workplaces is in itself an incredible achievement to do it five times is an absolute feat. Being named to this list year-after-year, while also supporting a period of rapid growth in the midst of a global pandemic, is testament to our ongoing commitment to our employees and to the deeply-inclusive, thoughtful and truly people-first culture we’ve fostered here at Tinuiti. I’m incredibly proud of each and every single one of our team members this award is testament to their continued commitment to our shared mission to grow happiness.”

Scott Omelianuk, Inc. The Editor-in-Chief said, “Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges. Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”

In addition to Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces, Tinuiti is one of Mogul’s Top 100 Companies for Diverse Representation in 2022 and has been recognized by Ad Age’s Best Places to Work program, garnering the No. 1 spot in 2019 and 2020, No. 4 in 2021 and No. 14 in 2022. Last month, Tinuiti received eleven honors at the 2022 Stevie Awards for American Business, the U.S.’s premier business awards program, including the highly-coveted Company of the Year award. The team also took home Gold for Human Resources Dept. of the Year and Achievement in Human Resources; and Bronze for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year – At Organizations With Up to 2,500 Employees for its Thankful Giving philanthropic program.

Since 2017, Tinuiti has experienced rapid expansion in the last 12 months alone. With an employee headcount now surpassing 1,100, the agency has experienced an unprecedented 59% year-over-year increase.

While Tinuiti is growing fast, the firm has never been more devoted to building an inclusive workforce. Almost two years removed from the social reckoning of Summer 2020, Tinuiti remains committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion at the company and in the digital marketing industry at large. With a public pledge to increase BIPOC talent from 27% to 35% by 2023, Tinuiti currently sits at 32% BIPOC employees and is strongly positioned to exceed its original goals. Tinuiti’s E-Team is composed of 67% of diverse leaders and 44% women, making the firm’s executive team one of the most representative leadership teams of all top performance marketing companies. In addition to female representation on the leadership team, Tinuiti’s workforce is made up of predominantly women and currently sits at 61% female.

The belief in ‘talent over geography’ is another formative influence on the workplace culture at Tinuiti. Unlike most other marketing agencies and tech companies, Tinuiti has encouraged a remote work culture pre-pandemic and made its first remote hire in 2008. Tinuiti also prioritizes healthy growth, putting mental health and physical wellness above all else– implementing mandatory mental health days, and a week-long, all-employee, paid time-off, company-mandated holiday in October 2021 called “Tinuiti Recharge.”

Also in 2021,  Tinuiti introduced the award-winning “Thankful Giving” program, a year-round employee-driven philanthropic movement asking employees to share local organizations that have had the most impact on them and their communities.
