Tinuiti’s Chief People Officer, Jen Garrison, Takes Home Gold Stevie Business Award for Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year

Garrison’s team was also responsible for Tinuiti receiving a Silver Stevie for Most Valuable Employer

NEW YORK,  August 27, 2020 — Tinuiti, the largest independent performance marketing agency across the triopoly of Google, Facebook and Amazon, is proud to announce that their chief people officer, Jen Garrison, won Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year in the Fifth Annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers. The agency was also awarded a Silver Stevie in the Most Valuable Employer category, specifically recognized for Tinuiti’s transparent communication & additional support ensuring a seamless transition to being fully remote during COVID-19.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. More than 700 nominations from organizations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories.

“Whether it’s an acquisition or situation like COVID-19, Jen has always been my right hand and the glue within our entire executive team. She brings cohesiveness to our strategy, communications and employee experience,“ said Zach Morrison, chief executive officer of Tinuiti. “Over the last six months, she reacted fast, with thoughtfulness and intention, building a plan that preserved every single Tinuitians’ job, allowing us to avoid layoffs, furloughs or pay cuts during a time of extreme uncertainty. She is an asset to Tinuiti and we’re thrilled to see her and Tinuiti recognized for such a prestigious award.”

Since joining Tinuiti in 2015, Garrison has grown the employee base tenfold while maintaining approximately an 85 percent retention rate, with a world-class above 60 eNPS score. This is a testament to Garrison and her team’s dedication to maintaining fast, but healthy business growth. Over the last 18 months in particular, Tinuiti has ramped up their on-boarding, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion efforts while continuing to evolve benefits and perks to ensure an inclusive and engaging employee experience for new and tenured staff. Further enhancements were made, such as ingraining a human resources business partner into each department to ensure leaders would be supported, while maintaining culture and values throughout the organization.

“I am beyond humbled to be recognized for this award and to have my broader team acknowledged for their dedication and efforts to ensure that our people are set up for success both professionally and personally,”’  said Jen Garrison, chief people officer of Tinuiti. “I wouldn’t have been able to do this without their commitment to Tinuiti and its people. We continue to be forward in our thinking and navigate the challenges of this new world we now find ourselves in.”

This isn’t the first HR award that Garrison has spearheaded; Tinuiti ranked #1 Best Place to Work by AdAge for the second consecutive year, as well as being recognized in Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2020. As Tinuiti’s chief people officer, Garrison is always thinking about all aspects of the company at a human level, overseeing everything from people operations to offices and IT.
