Careers at Tinuiti

At Tinuiti, our people are really good at what they do. And they’re happy doing it. Come see why.

What Putting Happiness First Looks Like

We do everything humanly possible to create an inclusive workplace where people can learn, thrive, and innovate.

Workplace Flexibility

Office or Remote? Your choice. Tinuiti has offices all over the US but we’ve also been working remotely for years so we know exactly how to do it. If you work near one of them, we have a desk (and a fully stocked kitchen) waiting for you (once the offices are back open). If you don’t work near one of our eight offices, we’ll get you everything you need to work comfortably from home. If you work near one of our offices, but prefer to work from home sometimes or all the time, that works, too.

Supporting Families (and Night Owls)

And while we work the hours that our clients need us, Tinuitians have a ton of flexibility as long as the work gets done and they’re transparent with their teams. Parents who need to work in multiple blocks around feedings and daycare dropoff and baseball games? No problem. Night owls who like to burn the midnight oil or early birds who go hunting for worms at dawn? We got you, too.

Our Employee Assistance Program includes five consultations with licensed counselors. Telemental health provides up to 10 free therapy sessions with licensed counselors and therapists. And all Tinuitians also get a membership to HealBright, which offers online courses that make emotional wellness accessible and engaging.

The Wall of Honor

Don’t take our word for it. We barely have room for all the Best Place to Work awards we’ve racked up for our happiness-first culture. We also have a stellar rating on Glassdoor.

FAQs

What’s it like to work at Tinuiti?

Every day, we’re committed to growing happiness in ourselves and our teammates. We invest in our people to give them meaningful careers by fostering an environment of autonomy that allows them to be—and do—their best. When our people are happy, our clients are happy—which keeps us innovating and growing. We have fostered a community of collaboration and transparency; the entire company joins a “huddle” call twice per month where we each department provide updates and the CEO hosts office hours once a week to give every employee a chance to provide feedback, ask questions, and learn more about industry trends, company strategy, and more.

This whole ‘happiness’ thing sounds corny/too good to be true. Which is it?

Neither. We know it’s hard to believe. And trust us, many new hires spend the first few months kicking the tires to test out whether it’s actually true that growing happiness is foundational to the company’s culture. Invariably, they come back and tell us they’re convinced.

What are the top traits you look for in a candidate?

It depends on the position, but all our questions are designed to help us understand your capabilities and potential to grow. Generally, we look for not only expertise but a strong desire to keep on learning, high intelligence (both intellectual and emotional), a passion for technology that borders on obsession, a serious work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to excel.

How can I best prepare for the interview?

Help us get to know you by explaining how your prior experience and successes have prepared you for the role you’re pursuing at Tinuiti. Review the job description and do research on the team and our company. Come ready to share some examples that demonstrate your strengths, any questions you have about the opportunity, and a healthy dose of curiosity. It’s also a good idea to get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast.

Should I ask questions?

Thoughtful questions demonstrate your level of understanding, your interest and your passions—so don’t hold back. Your interview is also an opportunity for you to get to know us.

What should I wear?

You don’t need to dress up to impress us. Wear whatever makes you most comfortable.  Keep in mind, all of our interviews during this time will be held via Zoom – so even though pants are technically optional, we prefer you wear them.

What does the interview process look like?

Start by applying for the role on our website. If it’s a fit, we will contact you from an @tinuiti.com email address or on LinkedIn to schedule a conversation. Our interview process begins with a phone interview with a recruiter followed by an interview with the hiring manager and a final panel interview with the team which includes a skills assessment or project.

How soon will I know if a hiring decision has been made?

Your recruiter can review the specific timeline for the opening you’ve applied for. You should hear back with a status update within a week of your interview.

How can I send a follow up thank you email to my interviewers?

Your recruiter can provide the names and contact information of your interviewers if you’d like to send thank you notes.
