Between volatile tariff rates, rising AI adoption, and a relatively short stretch between Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, brands and marketers have plenty to think about when it comes to making the most of the holiday shopping season in 2025.
This is driving an expanded shopping season, with a whopping 65% of holiday shoppers expecting to start buying gifts before Thanksgiving this year. This early start is coupled with an overall intent to increase spending, primarily through digital channels.
