This is one of those miscellaneous posts stressing the importance of mobile and how it’s the future of everything.
But in all seriousness, if you have a store where mobile traffic is inherently high (i.e. apparel, shoes, small electronics, accessories, typically NOT furniture or high AOV items), then you should probably consider hiring that developer to get a mobile-friendly site. After all, user-experience IS the future of everything.
Marketing Exchange has a really well-designed infographic on the prevalence of mobile search and mobile commerce. You don’t need this to tell you that mobile already does and will continue to play a large role in ecommerce.
