Who Cares? Elite Cares!
Although we are constantly on the computer trying to make our clients happy, we still manage to step away and make time to bring happiness to those less fortunate as well. When Elite Cares started out, it was about giving non-profits the ability to make a significant online presence with our expertise in Search Engine Marketing au gratis. We strategized online campaigns, crafted targeted keywords, and made sure there was an increase in site traffic. We would choose one new non-profit every six months- Elite started out with Fabretto’s Children Foundation back in June 2011 and then onto Big Brother Big Sister of New York for the earlier half of 2012.
Now seeing Hurricane Sandy’s magnitude of destruction on most North Eastern areas, there are more people in need more than ever. Hurricane Sandy left more than 100 dead, ravaged through more than 300 homes, and left thousands more displaced in just New York City alone. In an effort to expand our reach and tangibly help those whose lives have been changed forever, we are starting our first annual Food Drive in correlation to the coming holidays. It started on November 12th and will end December 12th.
There are teams of three people, and teams comprise all of our offices (New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Philadelphia). Cans are placed in 3ft x 2ft boxes (located in the office). Staying true to our company’s competitive nature, the team that brings in the most canned goods by the end of the Food Drive will have their picture on this blog (so check back to see the winning faces after Dec 12th)!
Moreover, we would also like to extend Elite SEM’s Food Drive to the public. We have created a Personal Food Bank for those who would like to contribute (whether large or small-anything will be greatly appreciated!).
