Sun Auto—a network of auto service and repair brands—wanted to bring in more customers while reducing the cost per lead and visit. But their data told an incomplete story. With campaigns spread across four agencies and disconnected data sources, their sales and cost data were fragmented and hard to trust. Tinuiti began by taking ownership of the majority of all search and social campaigns across nearly 40 brands and 350 locations and restructured the full account portfolio to enhance performance and simplify reporting. With full visibility, Tinuiti shifted optimization from broad brand-level goals to local store-level conversions that actually drove in-store visits—like booked appointments and phone calls.
To expand reach and precision, Tinuiti expedited rollout of Google Local Service Ads (LSAs) across Sun Auto’s network—a capability the previous agencies had been unable to activate due to complex approval hurdles.
Working hand-in-hand with Google, Tinuiti cleared account suspensions and verification issues (which had previously prevented many stores from running LSAs) for more than 300 stores in the first six months, unlocking one of the most powerful growth channels for local conversion, accounting for 36% of calls in 2025 vs. just 4% in 2024.
At the same time, Tinuiti improved tracking across every brand site by adding Meta pixels for better audience data and remarketing accuracy.
These cross-channel changes increased call volume by more than 7x, dramatically improving lead quality, lowering CPL by 64% and cost-per-car by 59%.
But cleaning up campaigns and restoring the foundational elements of the program was only half the story. The team also needed to fix the fragmented data that had been holding Sun Auto back.
