Although Google ad spending growth rates have decelerated over recent quarters, they remained strong to start 2022. Spending on Google search ads continues to grow faster than it did prior to the pandemic, while YouTube ad spending was up 28% Y/Y in Q1, helped by a growing contribution from connected TVs.
